HCM Day 1
Going on a 4 days 3 nights trip.
TAMMY being our Tour Guide!!!
Touched down at HCM on a rainy afternoon.
HCM's Airport
Took a cab to check-in hotel. We're staying at A&EM Hotel at District 1.
Sceneries along the way
Look at the numbers of motorists.
In HCM, the roads are filled with motors more than cars.
And from the way they drive, it terrifies even my Dad out.
I guess only their locals who have live their for ages can drive on the road.
Sceneries around the Hotel
Our Hotel Lobby
We stay in Room 603 where else parents Room 602
After settling down, we went for lunch.
Tammy brought us to try their famous "PHO"
The surroundings
Their table "cloth" & appetizer
I realised in HCM, alot of eateries always give a set of the above ingredients whenever we have our meals.
Tammy & i had the Beef Slice Pho - the beef was NICE
Parents had the Chicken Meat Pho
We share the Beef Balls
Tammy recommended this drink - Lemon Soda Chanh
This is one of the Vietnamese favourite drink.
After lunch, we took a walk at the Tourist Market opposite our hotel name Ben Thanh Market.
Here opens at around 6am to 6pm.
There after they'll close & the roads beside them will set up Night Market.

Ben Thanh Market - Tourist Market
The things sold there are almost 2 times sold at those normal market (杀人放火)!!!
Night View of Ben Thanh Market
This is how those Aunties & sellers sat at the Wet Market
Night Market View taken from Hotel Room
The Night Market after Ben Thanh Market is closed
Quite a number of eateries to "ketok" foreigners!
At night, Tammy brought us to have Chinese Cuisine at Dragon Court Chinese Restaurant.
They're famous for their "梅菜扣肉 - Preserved Vegetable with Pork Belly"
SignBoard of Restaurant
Interior Design
Table Settings & Appetizers
梅菜扣肉 - Preserved Vegetable with Pork Belly
Chill Spicy Chicken Feet - Quite hard
Fry Frog
Fry Watercress Vegetable - Singapore's still taste better
Drunken Prawns in Beer Soup - Taste bitter & not nice for the Soup but Prawns are fresh
Complimentary Desserts
After dinner, we took a cab back to walk around the Night Market opposite Hotel.
Tammy got 'ketok' for 2 sets of keychains.
After that, went back hotel to rest.
Around 1am, Tammy & i went downstairs source for Supper - Our Beloved Pig Blood!!!
Yum Yum....found a roadside stalls, very generous to give extra servings of Pig Blood.
Very cheap & the porridge is nice.
2 Bowls + that extra serving of Pig Blood only cost us $35,000 Vietnam Dong.
Dirt cheap right?
The only bad point is Tammy had a rat companion while she was eating haha
Our sumptous Supper
