(3rd) A BD Trip to Batam Day 2
Time passes fast during holidays :(
Suppose to meet at 9am Local Time for a Swim yet i set wrong timing & wake poor Joe up an hour plus earlier hahaha.
So i call Kelvin & the 3 of us went to search for breakfast.
Too bad nearby no stalls so we check the Hotel Breakfast Buffet instead.
Cause we book Free & Easy Package so no breakfast included.

Overall not bad la...especially the cornflakes & omelette.
It cost us around SGD $13 (IDR $254,100) per pax.
Consider cheap ba for American Breakfast.

All of us except Kelvin came for a swim, the water was cold & practically no one except our group :)
I took a shot of this tree outside the Pool, the red fruits seems very alike to Rambutans haha
After swim, everyone was hungry.
So we went back to room, bath, packed everything & checked out!
We paid SGD $69 (IDR $448,500) for one night stay at Novotel Hotel.
Took cab back to "Nagoya Hill" as we plan to lunch there.
Kelvin want another round of Massage before we head back.
Tammy also wanna have hair treatment as she got a Wedding Dinner to attend tonight.
Kelvin went straight away for his massage as he had a heavy breakfast with us.
Me, Joe, Duncan & Tammy had lunch at this Cafe

We each had an Ayam Penyet, Joe ordered to try upon seeing us eat too
Me, Duncan & Tammy had the Beer Mix Mutton Glass Noodles Soup
Joe had this Ayam Glass Noodles Soup Their servings are kind of small but cheap.
Its around SGD $1.50 (IDR $10,000) for a Bowl of Glass Noodles.
Saw this 15 mins Massage Parlour opposite our Cafe
15 mins for SGD $1 (IDR $8,000) - consider cheap or not?
Jeremy craving for fried food again, he always eat alot of oily & fried food yet never grow fat.
Should i be envious???
So Jasmine & Jeremy went to "New York Pizza & Steak Cafe".
Their Oily, Fattening Sumptous Lunch
After lunch, Tammy went for her Hair Treatment at "Eska Salon".
The rest of us....hang around "Nagoya Hill".
We went Arcade shoot basketball.
Won 20 tickets & gave to the cutest kid there haha.
After that shop shop around.
The tees there are simply cheap, mostly less than SGD $5 only.
After that we went A&W for drinks & wait for Tammy & Kelvin to be done.
Silly gal spent around SGD $25 (IDR $160,000) for Hair Treatment
After Tammy & Kelvin done, we went to call for Taxi to Ferry Terminal.
It only cost us around SGD $8 (IDR $50,000) per Taxi to get to the Ferry.
Imagine how much we were being 'carrot' on your way to hotel by Novotel!!!
Went to 'jalan jalan' at the Mega Mall there.
Bought alot of food stuffs at the Hypermart.
Then walk back to Ferry Terminal.
Finally the moment is here, our last stop at Polo Boutique.
There's a promo going on, buy 2 Polo of the selected range with flag at SGD $60 (IDR $390,000).
Its damn cheap can.
So i bought 2. Duncan bought 1. Joe bought 1.
Then off we head back to Singapore!
Good & relaxing times always ended fast :( Back to reality again.
Food Stuffs i bought for Family
The very unique pack of 'Leaves' Crackers, i bought them for my colleagues to try :)
Bought 2 tees & 1 ball for ChenChen costing less than SGD $10
I also bought Dad a cotton singlet at around SGD $2 (IDR $15,000)
Bought 6 tees each costing around SGD $3 each (IDR $20,000)
Boxer at around SGD $6 (IDR $39,000) each
Actually me, Joe & Duncan bought the same Boxer planning to go swimming with it.
In the end, only Joe & me put on. Duncan played us out by wearing back his own shorts.
Bought 2 short sleeve shirts at around SGD $10 each (IDR $63,000)
Bought this berm at around SGD $15
The Slipper & Shoe cost around SGD $7 (IDR $45,000 / $50,000) each
And lastly, my best favourite "POLO" Polo Tees
They got limited size S, me & Joe were snatching but luckily got just enough for the 2 of us to take 1 each.
AND so coincidentally, the numbers behind the tees nicely fit "23" my favourite number!
He bought White Italy.
I bought White Germany & Black USA.
Duncan bought Dark Green Spain.
Overall, it was a fun & nice trip.
At first i was still worrying, it'll be hard to compromise everyone but glad all are very accomodating to one another's needs & did everything in groups together.
Thank you Everyone & hope there'll be another chance for such trips.
I had a happy & memoriable BD this year!!! ^_^
