Batch Gathering
Attendance always not very optimistic.
Only way to comfort myself is >>> it's always hard to compromise big group of people timing.
My mentality is: Secondary School time happiest therefore cherished these friendship ties alot.
It's not as if we're meeting everyday, every week or every month.
It's only a Once Per Year kind of event.
I don't see why some people just don't bother to make an effort to attend.
Maybe not everyone have the same mentality as me i guess.
Some of them indeed cherished the ties & have the thinking that it's only once a year.....so he/she treasured the gathering catching up time.
Anyway attendance was kind of good initially with a total number of 26 pax.
But as the date gets nearer, people come sending SMS saying cannot make it.
Worst still for those people who actually informed you last minute or didn't even bother till you got to send mass SMS to remind everyone then you'll get a reply.
Reason being no number to contact.
Oh please.....i guess there's so many ways of contact in this world now.
It just depends only whether the EFFORT is there or not!
It's really kind of dishearted & disappointing especially when you put in so much efforts to organize & try to make things go well. And the kind of result or response you get.
Still, i greatly appreciate those who made an effort to attend this once per year event.
19 of us had dinner at Seoul Garden at Taka but the management there only gave us a maximum of 2hrs to dine there reason being it's Sat, their peak hour.
After dinner, Alix suggested going to chill out at "BluJazz" therefore majority went except 3.
We had so much fun catching up, joking around & sharing each other's life now.
Very nice & sweet of Mike to give the 16 of us a drinks treat.
After that, the night was still young so we decided to go join Colin for a 3rd round.
A pub name "Crystabelle" at Keong Siak.
Not all keen as some next day got to work too.
So in the end left 8 of us went down to meet Colin.
The place not so bad, not really very crowded but the attitude & service of the LadyBoss was bad.
We left at about 1+am as Duncan needs to wake up early next day.
Very nice & sweet of JianCheng to send me, Duncan & Stephanie home though he's not on the way.
Thank you to all those who made an effort to turn up for this event.
Any further gatherings, all of you won't be forgotten ^_^
