Retrenchment Package
Right from the start ever since the news of retrenchment was announced, the severance package to compensate staffs are never fair!!!
From the point of view of the Management, they keep repeating its fair.
Yet the measures that they are doing only benefits the Junior Staffs yet taking great advantage of the Senior Staffs who had sacrificed 6-7 years of their youth for this company.
Never did i expect such a big MNC company to be so miser when it comes to rewarding those staffs who had worked here for years.
I'm very disappointed.
Its not as if the company is making loses then they close down our Dept.
But they decided to shift the entire office to overseas.
Imagine you waste 7 years slogging for this company, in the end.....you are only being paid 10% of your monthly pay per year.
Look how miserable it is!
Eg: Per month you drawing S$2K & worked for 7 years so total you'll get S$1400 not even your 1 month salary in fact for slogging 7 years for this damn company.
Of course they added some more saying oh you must work hard to pull up your PI (Productivity Index) & QI (Quality Index) inorder to get more money.
Look how they forced & threatened their staffs to work while serving notice inorder to get more payout.
Whereby according to MOM law, it should be 1 month salary per year compensation.
So LOOK.....how well the Management of my company is taking advantage of those Senior Staffs.
They only know how to use the Junior Staffs as excuse as to be fair to them etc.
Management are always good at cheating people.
So i guess no matter how many times we appeal or fight, we'll still end up getting that miserable amount!
