Retrenchment!!!
Today our Big Boss fly to Singapore to have a Meeting with us.
Somehow my 6th sense tells me, it isn't a good thing.
When he mentioned he'll make an important announcement later & seeing the HR colleagues are here.....all the more i can confirmed my bad gut feeling.
He went a big round, giving a long boring speech before he break the news to everyone.
There was complete silence in the office.
Q&A time yet no one make a single noise initially except 2 guys.
Big Boss explained that inorder to save cost, time & increase efficiency.....they decided to shut down Singapore's Office & fully concentrate on building up Gdansk & Zurich offices.
He did offer positions to work in Zurich & Gdansk but if people who knows me well would know i'll never ever want to be relocated away from Singapore where all my family & friends are!
It's worst than death even though the salary there might be abit better.
Also alternatives are positions within my whole company else ending would be compensation packages but not very attractive as its abit stressful target to hit inorder to get more money.
Sigh~~~ stressed & pressured.
Though parents gave some comforting words asking me not to worry about household & money.
Worked till end of June then decide.
Meanwhile on the lookout for jobs.
I've worked in this company for 7 years.
Though there are detestable people there but i also have great friends there too like Zawiyah & Suliana.
It's abit sad to be leaving them.
Nevertheless, i still hope i can get an ideal job soon.
Also may our friendship ties be as strong as now no matter where we all will be in future!
Therefore lastly, with effect from 01st July 2009, if i managed to get a job it'll be great else i'll be jobless from then on.
