Steamboat Dinner at Chong Pang at Marina South
Its been a long time since we all gathered for steamboat dinner meal. Me + Joe + Kelvin + Jasmine + Shandy + Avril. Avril drove so she & Jasmine went to pick Shandy. Kelvin made his own way & Joe drove so i took a lift from him.
After many options, we settled down at 'Chong Pang' as the Auntie who served us provides good service. She lead us to sit at the Muslim area as Chinese area was full but still we can take food at Chinese area so be it.
Haha so fun, all busy cooking & look who's the greedy pig at the top right corner ^_^
Wa.....cook till the aluminium foil so black, yucks! This pot of Soup is specially cooked by Avril.
The drinks sold there can be in jugs at S$6 per jug regardless of what drinks but we were utterly disappointed in the stingyness of the Drinks Stall. The guy at the Drinks Stall refuse to give us ice as he said we filled the finished jug with plain water which is actually Sprite that we brought along. I believe alot of people who goes there will do this. And we were right, the big table beside us.....when they left, we saw there was hidden big bottle of Green Tea, Coke & Mineral Water which adds up to about 5-6.
See....we're not the only one who do this yet because of this, the stupid guy refuse to give us ice. Not that we never order from them any drinks. We did just that after that the refilled was our own. Ice only cost how much yet that stupid guy is that stingy about it. Thinking of this, spoil our mood & i doubt we'll ever go back there again, not because the steamboat service not good but because the Drinks Stall name 'Can & Can Beer House' spoils the wrong atmosphere there.
So don't ever go there as the stall is too stingy!!! Especially to see the detestable face of that guy.
