JB Trip.....
Since it's Public Holiday, we've decided to make a trip in to JB (Johor Bahru) to do some shopping, watched movie & have my favorite seafood.
It was very nice of Joe's Dad to drive us to Woodlands Checkpoint. We set off at 10am. When we're almost reaching, jam started. So we decided to walk in.....everything went smoothly till the Malaysian Checkpoint where it started to pour heavily. When we ran till almost reaching the checkpoint, we saw so so so many people there. Shit! What a day!
We were practically jammed at Malaysia Checkpoint for 3 hours, the officers there simply took their own sweet time chopping & scanning the passports despite the crowded there. It's so suffocating as too many people yet the air-con don't seems to be working. There was this couple who don't look young anymore were hugging so tighly & practically pushing everyone around them just to sqeeuze right to the front. Even when an Aunty told them off, they simply ignored her.....what a disgrace to Singaporeans! Especially the guy who's not even a gentlemen at all. No wonder they make a couple.
Finally manage to get in, walked to 'City Square' to buy movie tickets, watched "Ice Age 2". After getting the tickets, we went "Kenny Rogers" for lunch. We ordered a Family Meal which consists of a whole chicken, 4 side dishes & 3 muffins. The hot muffins tasted yummy.
After the movie, we met up with AiHui, Jeffrey, Shandy & MingWei before taking cabs over to 'Holiday Plaza' to shop. After that, we walked all the way to 'Da Ma Hua Yuan' for dinner. Took some pictures there. See how big our glass of sugarcane drink is.
Forgot to take pictures till we finished eating haha look how sumptuous it is. Heehee
After dinner, we took cabs to Malaysia Checkpoint, jammed again! Then we walked all the way back to Singapore Checkpoint & share cab home.
Tiring day as did a lot of walking but will consider making another trip in again as it's fun!!!
